Todae is my last nite with shi xiong and bel bel.... Shi xiong cooked us food to eat.... wow, nice nice... U kw lah, i eat watever is edible... Hehehe... When came to work, pm staff was quite occupied as they recevied 2 pts and 1 pt nid to intubate, which is rm 21... As we nite staff took over, more or less, things were settled. Juz tat my poor collegue, Regine got to stay bk to finish up her report. She left ard 10plus.... Then ard 11pm, we received phone calls frm radiographer and evelyn (SN), they claimed tat there is a CVL activatn. Me and Shi xiong were shocked coz we were not informed by our Registra on call Dr.....J. Sickening men.... Bt nvm. the case was settled ard 2am... Then we started to eat our "breakfast"... After tat, bel and I started our routine (doin ECG, take blood frm patients, turnings & suctionings) at abt 4am. Kind of 1hr early to do all these tins, bt we juz procceed. who kws.... At abt 5.10am, shi xiong received a call frm Hd, sayin that a patient frm 22/1 nid to cum in to ccu to intubate... We were slpy at that time as we all didnt slp... Knowing that, we were alert bt pei chay... Rm16 (the Post acute patient) kept pressing call bell and claimed that he was unwell. He was perfectly ok as his vital signs were stable and ECG was fine... Then my patient (rm 21) BP kept dropping like shit despite on I/V dopamine frm 3mcg increased to 15mcg. Wow piah, got a very bad sign that the patient will GO. I kept my finger crossed. Juz that after we had settled the intubated case frm HD, my patient went into VT. Wow lao, at 6.20am this kind of timing... we resuscitated the patient for abt 25mins (1st round). Managed to bring bk patient as shi xiong said "not at this time lah, pls be ok". However, after abt 5-8mins time, patient again went into VT... Dashed into the rm again to resusitate him again. This time round, i knew tat i will surely have to packed the patient liao... coz his pupil size is fits and dilated. haiz..... patient expired at 7.20 am. I passed my unfinished task to Aisha... finished up my report and headed for hme... Thankz for the help, shi xiong and bel bel when resusitating my patient...... (they did so many times CPR)... Also, thanks for the food, shi xiong... Ur cooking is owaz nice to me......... About to go work liao, my 2nd nite.....

Todae is my off dae... went out to suntec with family.... then mit up with my "4th ah ku and ah kim" there.... 1st shop we went in was Bossini.... My "ah kim" gave me a $10 discount voucher, hence eyed on a greenish top... Took the displayed piece and went to the fitting room to try straight! Liked the top alot.... so without much consideration, i bought it. Also, my mum liked a grey t-shirt with colourful buttons.So, i got 4her. After that, we shopped ard from suntec to MS... Went to see laptop (apple) and dad said will get 4us as we 4 sisters will nid it for our studies.... Yeah.... Then we sat dwn outside a shop which sells honey... near giant... Waited for dear to cum n meet us frm his jap class at bugis.... We then all had lunch together at Imperial Kitchen. We had a sumptious meal... wow ate till all of us so full that we went to millinia walk to see furnitures. Next, we went bk to carrefour to shop for groceries. Wow, when i looked at my watch, it was already 3plus...... then after paying the items we bought, we went to yan Kun Toast shop for a cup of tea/coffee/milo. After all so-called "high-tea", we headed home. Walked real much todae.... dear, mum and dad commented that their legs are aching. Hahahaha.... Bt im still fine with it. Just that im sleepy liao... Todae will have a good rest, coz tmr back to work liao... Back to my HOME SWEET HOME---> CCU.........

Down with a very bad sorethroat since fridae... Took medicines but didnt really relief much. Had very strong and high dose of antibiotics. But kip coughing non-stop when at work... I was given mc on mon. bt i didn't take. Dragged myself to work, feeling tired and weak, but do i have a choice??? I have... it's juz tat i dun1 to take that mc... I want perfect attendance... Rite nw, i juz hoping for my Rest day to cum soon soon... :(

Todae is my 2nd dae in HD, 1st time got 4 SN on am duty. It's so amazing men... As usual, sister will try to drag staff out to B2 to help... bt in the matter of fact, B2 station has very rich in staff too. So HD remains with 4 staff. However, todae im junior with chong...3 discharges, 2 sda and a Transfer in pt frm CGH, had a pt who requires CVP insertion. Lastly, surely got 1 A & E as usual. Haiz... nvm, juz work as usual. bt im reali waiting to go bk to my hme...-->CCU. Can my daes in HD faster ends??????????? SAVE ME lah...

todae it's my 1st dae in HD, working ther is reali a great challenge 4me. I worked with efficient staff and they are reali fast in speed... coz HD turn over rate is reali fast. So, if u were to work in such an environmt, i bet u will definitely cope fast and be a very speedy person. However, i reali appreciate all the great help todae frm my ccu friend,ann... Thankz for cumin over to help up even though it's juz a while... ur help is reali appreciate. Thankz for buyin my meal... kam sia ann... Also, Thankz for morning HD collegues for all ur guidance AND help. I will try to kw where r all ur forms and equipments being kept asap.... Had a tiring dae at work bt is still manageable after all... ok, i go take a nap nw.............

Todae i m workin pm in ccu... after todae, i be workin in HD... i kind of reluctant to go there... reluctant to be on my white uniform, bt wat to do, i dun hv a choice... coz im bonded. i wish tomorrow nvr cum, bt will that be? Though i will only be ther for 2wks, bt to me, it's kind of 2yrs ther... Y me got to go there? I rather be posted or reserviced at ICA than to go HD... I nvr work ther b4 and the staff ther i dun reali kw them... SHIT men... Bt i kw, no matter wat, i got to do my best even it will be a tough time for me. Bt something to look forward 4 is that i got wkends off... juz hope my daes in HD will be a peaceful and smooth journey. Wish me luck!!!

MooDy DaE At WorK........
Kana questioned by a NM frm a ward 56, knew her when worked in ccu as non-trained. She questioned n asked me via phone why 2pm meds was not served for this particular pt that very day.... I told her as we sent the IMR to pharmacy to get medcines that are all not supply....the imr came bk to us at ard 5.30pm.... hence, we served all the 8pm meds instead... Moreover, we could not serve the patient 2doses at one shot as those medications can caused pt's bp to down.... I explained to her n apologised through the phone, n this NM could say sumthing so sarcastic that......" I kw ICA VERY busy, bt my side oso busy lor......" She hanged off the phone after that. Bt the issue was not rested yet, she ranged up to A station NM and complained the issue to her. It pissed me off as she simply didnt accept my explaination and wanted some disciplinary actions to be taken on me.......... Nvm, watever has been done cannot be undone.... I kw this reasoning. I admit it is partly my fault to overlook this issue b4 sending to pharmacy.... Bt i admit my mistake without hesitating. Hopefully i can enjoy my rest dae tmr......
