Todae is my last nite with shi xiong and bel bel.... Shi xiong cooked us food to eat.... wow, nice nice... U kw lah, i eat watever is edible... Hehehe... When came to work, pm staff was quite occupied as they recevied 2 pts and 1 pt nid to intubate, which is rm 21... As we nite staff took over, more or less, things were settled. Juz tat my poor collegue, Regine got to stay bk to finish up her report. She left ard 10plus.... Then ard 11pm, we received phone calls frm radiographer and evelyn (SN), they claimed tat there is a CVL activatn. Me and Shi xiong were shocked coz we were not informed by our Registra on call Dr.....J. Sickening men.... Bt nvm. the case was settled ard 2am... Then we started to eat our "breakfast"... After tat, bel and I started our routine (doin ECG, take blood frm patients, turnings & suctionings) at abt 4am. Kind of 1hr early to do all these tins, bt we juz procceed. who kws.... At abt 5.10am, shi xiong received a call frm Hd, sayin that a patient frm 22/1 nid to cum in to ccu to intubate... We were slpy at that time as we all didnt slp... Knowing that, we were alert bt pei chay... Rm16 (the Post acute patient) kept pressing call bell and claimed that he was unwell. He was perfectly ok as his vital signs were stable and ECG was fine... Then my patient (rm 21) BP kept dropping like shit despite on I/V dopamine frm 3mcg increased to 15mcg. Wow piah, got a very bad sign that the patient will GO. I kept my finger crossed. Juz that after we had settled the intubated case frm HD, my patient went into VT. Wow lao, at 6.20am this kind of timing... we resuscitated the patient for abt 25mins (1st round). Managed to bring bk patient as shi xiong said "not at this time lah, pls be ok". However, after abt 5-8mins time, patient again went into VT... Dashed into the rm again to resusitate him again. This time round, i knew tat i will surely have to packed the patient liao... coz his pupil size is fits and dilated. haiz..... patient expired at 7.20 am. I passed my unfinished task to Aisha... finished up my report and headed for hme... Thankz for the help, shi xiong and bel bel when resusitating my patient...... (they did so many times CPR)... Also, thanks for the food, shi xiong... Ur cooking is owaz nice to me......... About to go work liao, my 2nd nite.....
